What should we wear?

I always recommend wearing clothes that feel like you — soft, neutral tones photograph beautifully and help keep the focus on your faces and connection. Avoid large logos or super bright colours, and think about how your outfits work together as a group. I’m happy to help with outfit suggestions if you’re unsure!

When will we get our photos?

You’ll receive your edited gallery within 2–3 weeks of your session. If you need them sooner (e.g. for a special occasion), I offer a rush delivery option for $50.

Where will the session take place?

For full sessions, you can choose your favourite outdoor location around Brisbane. I have some beautiful, tried-and-true spots if you need inspiration! Mini sessions take place at a set location chosen for its lighting and ease.

What if it rains?

I always keep an eye on the weather, and if it’s looking too rainy or wild, we’ll reschedule at no extra cost. I’ll be in touch the day before if the forecast looks uncertain.

Can we bring grandparents or pets?

Absolutely! Grandparents, cousins, dogs — they’re all part of the story. Just let me know in advance so I can plan accordingly.

Do you help with posing?

Yes — but I keep it super relaxed. I’ll gently guide you into natural, flattering positions and encourage you to play, cuddle, and connect so nothing feels stiff or awkward.

How many people can be in a session?

My sessions are designed for immediate family (up to 6 people). If you’d like to include extended family, just get in touch for a custom quote.

What if my kids don’t cooperate or things feel chaotic?

I totally get it — I have a little one too, and I know how unpredictable kids can be! My sessions are designed to be relaxed and playful, with no pressure to perform or sit still. We’ll follow their lead, take breaks when needed, and capture the real moments — giggles, cuddles, even the wild bits — because that’s where the magic is.
